CQUIN 2017/18-2018/19 data collection - Provider details
Overview
Acute, mental health and community providers who are participating in the new CQUIN indicators (see list below) are required to submit data on their achievement against the indicator goals, via NHS Digital's Strategic Data Collection Service.
This information can then be accessed by CCGs and CSUs to monitor the provider’s performance.
The data will also be made available to NHS England and to Public Health England so that a national picture of the effectiveness of the CQUIN schemes can be monitored.
The new CQUIN schemes are:
4. Improving services for people with mental health needs who present to A&E
5. Transitions out of Children and Young People’s Mental Health Services
6. Offering Advice and Guidance
9. Preventing ill health by risky behaviours – alcohol and tobacco
10. Improving the assessment of wounds
11. Personalised care and support planning
Please note that you need to provide all of this information, even if you are already registered on the SDCS.
The information will enable NHS Digital to contact you in order to register your organisation on the Strategic Data Collection System (SDCS), and to link yourorganisation to relevant CCGs and CSUs.
What happens next
NHS Digital will be in touch by 31 May 2017 to invite you to register on the Strategic Data Collection System (SDCS).
