Overview

Publication Gateway Reference: 05286

This is your chance to shape the future of how the health system identifies and manages conflicts of interest. In March 2016 the NHS England Board recommended the establishment of a cross-system Task and Finish Group, chaired by Sir Malcolm Grant, to examine the issue of conflicts of interest across the health system, The aim of the Task and Finish Group is to develop proposals for improved identification and management of conflicts of interest, which can be applied consistently across organisations involved in the delivery of health care.  You can find more about the work of the Task and Finish Group (including its membership and Terms of Reference) on the NHS England website.

Why your views matter

To assist in their work the Task and Finish Group are keen to understand the contexts in which the health system encounters conflicts of interest; any difficulties arising when trying to manage them, as well as discovering the best practice approaches that have proved effective. This is the purpose of this Call for Evidence.
