Consultation Guide: National Procurement for the Provision of Behavioural Interventions for People with Non-Diabetic Hyperglycaemia
Overview
Please note that this consultation will be open:
- Until 7 September for potential providers of the new service
- Until 18 September for local health economies and other stakeholders
The NHS Diabetes Prevention Programme has launched a prospectus for providers, local health economies and others interested in the new service. This engagement will allow them to contribute to the proposals set out in the Consultation Guide.
A shorter document for members of the public has also been produced by Diabetes UK at the request of NHS England and we welcome feedback from prospective service users and members of the public on the questions contained within this document.
Why your views matter
The NHS Diabetes Prevention Programme is committed to:
- developing the NDPP in an open and transparent way; and
- ensuring that its proposals are informed by as wide a range of views as possible.
We would like to hear from anybody with an interest in diabetes prevention services, specifically including, but not limited to, potential providers of the proposed services, CCGs and local authorities, general practitioners and other health professionals that may refer individuals intothe programme, and potential service users.
