A consultation covering changes to simplify arrangements for research in the NHS and associated changes to the terms of the NHS Standard Contract

Overview

NHS England is keen to receive feedback and answer your questions on the proposals to support research in the NHS in England. Your views will help NHS England to further shape and refine our proposals.

The consultation period runs from 30 November 2017 to 1 February 2018.

We encourage you to read the full consultation document before responding. 

You can respond by:

• Online survey: the online survey can be accessed by clicking the link at the bottom of the page. 
• Post: Alternatively, if you can’t respond online you can post your response(s) to Supporting Research in the NHS Consultation, NHS England, 4N04, Quarry House, Leeds, LS2 7UE. 

Events

NHS England will also convene a number of listening and engagement events during the consultation period to ensure that all stakeholders are given a chance to provide their views.
