Proposed change of location for Southwark’s 8 to 8 (Extended Primary Care Service) from 2020

Closed 6 Jul 2018

Opened 16 May 2018

Overview

The 8 to 8 (Extended Primary Care Service) offers extra GP and nurse appointments from 8am to 8pm seven days week. The service is available at two locations in Southwark; Lister Primary Care Centre in Peckham and Spa Medical Centre in Bermondsey.

We (NHS Southwark CCG) are proposing that from 2020, the service for the south of the borough, now based at the Lister Primary Care Centre, moves to the planned new Dulwich Health Centre.   We will also consider whether any 8 to 8 services should continue to be offered from the Lister Primary Care Centre.

Lister Primary Care Centre is at 101 Peckham Road, London SE15 5LJ.  The new Dulwich Health Centre will be next to the current Dulwich Community Hospital, East Dulwich Grove, London SE22 8PT.

We want to hear what our patients and stakeholders views are about this proposed move. This survey is to find out what you think is important about the 8 to 8 service and what needs to improve.

Who should complete the survey?

The questions should be answered by anyone who is registered with a GP surgery in south Southwark (Camberwell, Peckham, Dulwich or Nunhead). If you are registered with the Hambleden Clinic or Melbourne Grove Medical Practice please complete the survey for your practice.

If you are helping that person to complete the survey, please ensure the answers recorded are those of the individual and not yours.
