Survey for NHS England patient and public voice partners
Overview
NHS England considers our partnership with people and communities to be central to the way that we work. We are committed to ensuring that patient and public voices (PPV) are at the heart of shaping our healthcare services.
Each year we invite national and regional PPV partners and chairs to share their views and experiences of working with NHS England, via an online survey. Insights from previous surveys have been used to improve the way we work with PPV partners and chairs and maximise the impact they can have. For example, we have used feedback to improve the training and support we offer to PPV partners and chairs.
The findings of the survey will be reviewed by the specific area of NHS England that you are involved with, to consider what actions could be taken within each directorate to make positive change. To enable this, when completing the survey please be clear about which group (committee, board or activity) you are part of. If you are involved in more than one group, please answer the questions with your overall view of your PPV experience and use the comment box to distinguish between groups if necessary.
The 2022 survey will run until 3 October 2022. Please reflect on the last 12 months you have been working with NHS England. If you are new to your role, it may be difficult to answer some of the questions. You can indicate this in the comment boxes provided and answer what questions you can based on your experiences so far.
The survey should take no longer than 20 minutes to complete. We hope that you can give open and honest feedback about your experience of NHS England. We will treat your responses confidentially. Responses will be anonymised before being published.
We truly value the significant contribution that PPV partners make towards improving our NHS and we thank you for the commitment and expertise you bring. Thank you for taking the time to give us your views through this survey.
Please note that this survey has free text response boxes. Please do not include anything identifiable in your answers if you wish to submit responses anonymously.
