Primary Care Digital Maturity Index

Overview

Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs) or GP IT Delivery Partners on their behalf are asked to complete a self-assessment survey of their GP IT infrastructure and services, which will be used to assess GP IT digital capability across England under Phase One of the national Primary Care Digital Maturity Index programme.

Importantly this will provide intelligence for local strategy and decision making, supporting the future bidding process for 2015/2016 Transitional and Capital funds. It will also set the baseline for Phase Two, which will examine how the effective use of IT can contribute to positive primary care commissioned patient outcomes.

We want to start this process as soon as possible to help you with your planning.

CCGs have been given one month to finish this survey, which must be completed by 23.59pm on Friday 19 December.
