NHS@75: an invitation to have your say
Overview
The 75th birthday of the NHS on 5 July 2023 marks an important moment for all of us who value our health and care system. It is a time to take stock together. It prompts us to look forward. This is an invitation from the NHS Assembly to contribute to that collective conversation. The NHS Assembly brings together a range of individuals from across the health and care sectors at regular intervals to provide independent advice to the board of NHS England.
We are asking you to have collective conversations and share your ideas across three big areas; How far has the NHS come in 75 years? Where is it now? What would you like from the NHS in the future? These may be some quick thoughts, or a much deeper discussion. All are valued. Please feel free to complete the survey individually or supported by friends and family.
A downloadable version of this survey, and an Easy Read version are available at the end of this page – please send your responses to england.nhs75engagement@nhs.net.
A conversation guide is available and we have also published an accessible version of this. This provides useful background information to help you respond to the survey questions.
Why your views matter
This engagement will draw together collective insights on the NHS today, its history, and some of the most important ways the NHS can respond to new opportunities and challenges. It will help inform findings which will be shared with NHS England's leadership from the NHS Assembly.
